1962 Şanlıurfa doğumlu olup ilk ve orta tahsilini Şanlıurfa’da tamamlamıştır.Şanlıurfa Ticaret Lisesini bitirdikten sonra Urfa’ da Tenekeci Mahmut Güzelgöz, Kazancı Bedih gibi ustalardan ders almış,kendi kendini sıra gecelerinde yetiştirmiştir.    Sanat hayatına İstanbul’da devam etmeye karar vermiş,burada 7 kaset ve 3 LP yaparak Türkiye’nin tanınmış ve sevilen sanatçıları arasında yerini almıştır. Çalışmalarını Şanlıurfa Sıra Gecesi ve arkadaşları gurubunda devam ettirmektedir. Evli ve 2 çocuk babasıdır.
