30 Mart 1980 İstanbul doğumlu olan Yalın'ın asıl ismi Hüseyin Yalın.İlk bestelerini St. Michel Fransız Lisesinde okuduğu yıllarda Yurdaer Doğulu Müzik okulunda gitar dersleri alırken yapmaya başladı. Halen eğitim gördüğü İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi Ekonomi Bölümünü kazandığı dönemde ise beste çalışmalarını hızlandırdı ve albüm demoları hazırlamaya başladı.    İlk olarak babasının akşamları ona çaldığı gitarın "Gipsy Kings" tınılarıyla başlayan müzik aşkı ile şimdi güçlü adımlar atıyor ve tamamı kendisine ait şarkılardan oluşan "Ellerine Sağlık" adlı albümüyle Türkiye'de kendi söz ve bestelerini seslendiren en kuvvetli yorumculardan biri olmayı hedefliyor.    Nişantaşı'ndan çıkan ilk popçu olarak Türk müzik dünyasına oldukça hızlı bir giriş yapan Yalın, 1,5 sene süren bir çalışmanın ardından ortaya çıkan "Ellerine Sağlık" adlı albümün ilk klip şarkısı "Zalim" oldu. Prodüksiyonunu Böcek Yapım'ın, yönetmenliğini ise Gürcan Keltek'ın yaptığı Zalim, ünlü müzik kanalı MTV'nin dünya listelerine de bir numaradan giriş yaptı. İlk albümüyle büyük beğeni toplayan Yalın, MTV'de yayınlanan World Chart Express'te Norveçli ünlü şarkıcı Anastacia'yı geride bırakarak birinci oldu. Zalim'in ardından Murat Küçük yönetmenliğinde "Sonsuz Ol" ve "Günaydın" parçalarına klip çekimi yapıldı.
