1963  yılında Kırklareli’nde doğan Candan Erçetin, İlk ve orta okulları Kırklareli’nde okuduktan sonra Galatasaray Lisesi´ne girdi. Mezuniyetin ardından, Klasik Arkeoloji dalında İstanbul Üniversitesi´nde Yüksek Lisans öğrenimi gördü. 1979 yılında girdiği İstanbul Belediye Konservatuarı Şan bölümünü 1991 yılında bitirdi.    Kariyeri : 1986 yılında 'Halley' adlı parça ile 'Klips ve Onlar' grubunun elemanı olarak Norveç´de yapılan Euro vizyon Şarkı Yarışması´nda Türkiye´yi temsil etti. Öğrenimi nedeniyle çeşitli şarkı yarışmaları dışında bir süre sahne çalışması yapmadı. Profesyonel müzik hayatına 1989 yılında Siyah & Gümüş adlı gece kulübünde Ariie Antique ve Chansons söyleyerek başladı. Daha sonra Caz Bar (Paris Nights Cabaret), Küfe (Restaurant), Royal Bistro, Galatasaray Cemiyeti, Moda Deniz Klübü, Home store ve Swiss Hotel´de (La Com D´or Restaurant) uzun süreli sahne programlarını sürdürdü.    İşkadını  Şarkıcılığın yanı sıra, Turizm & Organizasyon, Prodüksiyon, Promosyon ve Menajerlik alanlarında muhtelif çalışmalarda bulundu. Daha sonra Kanal D´de 94 Ekim ayında başlayan ve 17 hafta süren, Kol Düğmeleri adlı Erkek Magazin Programının sunuculuğunu yaptı. Candan Erçetin halen Galatasaray Lisesi´nde müzik öğretmenliğini sürdürmektedir. Sahne programının önemli bölümünü Fransız Chansonsları oluşturmakla beraber, repertuarında Türkçe, İngilizce, İtalyanca, Almanca, İspanyolca ve Yunanca nostaljik şarkılar da yer almaktadır.
