“Makber” ve “Her Yer Karanlık” gibi besteleri de bulunan ses sanatçısı Hafız Burhan 1897-1943 yılları arasında yaşamış olan sanatçının asıl adı Burhan Sesyılmaz’dır. Özellikle gazel türünde okuduğu şarkılarla ün yapmıştır. Şarkı, ninni ve gazelleri büyük ilgi görmüştür. Abdülhak Hamid’in Makber adlı eserinden alarak bestelediği parça çok ünlüdür.
