Metin Aslan 1979 yılında Mardin'e bağlı Nusaybin ilçesinde doğmuştur.Eğitim hayatını burada sürdürmüştür.2004 yılında Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'nca düzenlenen Şiir Yarışması'nda birinci olmuştur.İstanbul'da yaşamaktadır.Anadolu Üniversitesi Açık öğretim Fakültesi İşletme Bölümü öğrencisidir.Ayrıca MESAM (Türkiye Musiki Eserleri Sahipleri Meslek Birliği) üyesidir.
