Beş yaşında iken konservatuarın piyano bölümüne birincilikle girdi. Altı sene Piano bölümü sonrası gitar bölümüne geçti. Bu esnada tiyatro eğitimi, çocuk korosunda solistlik, ritmli sazlar öğrenimini de sürdürdü. Daha sonra ortaokulu başarı ile bitirip, konservatuara flüt bölümü ile devam etti ve başarılı bir sonuçla mezun oldu. Los Angeles'ta bulunan "Musician İnstitude" de başladığı yüksek öğrenimine Bilgi Üniversitesi müzik bölümünde devam etmektedir. Sanatçının ilk albümü "Yaparım Bilirsin" Ağustos 1993'te piyasaya çıktı. O yıl verdiği 93 konserle Türkiye çapında ciddi bir rakama ulaşan Kenan Doğulu'nun, ikinci albümü "Sımsıkı Sıkı Sıkı" Aralık 1994'de piyasaya sürüldü ve bir yıl içinde 175 performans sergiledi. 1996 Ağustos ayında müzik marketlerde yerini alan "Kenan Doğulu 3" albümünün ardından bu albümdeki "Hiç Bana Sordun mu?", "Günah Değil mi Bana?", "10.Yıl Marşı" nın yeni düzenlemelerinin yer aldığı "Kenan Doğulu 3.5" isimli Maksi Single aynı yıl Eylül ayı ortalarında piyasaya çıktı. 1999 yılında "Ben Senin Her şeyinim", 2001 yılında "EX Aşkım" albümünü yayınladı. 2002 yılında ise çıkardığı önce 3.5 single'ını, ardından 5.5 albümünü yayınlandı. Son albümü Demedi Deme ise henüz çok taze.
