1904 yılında  Urfa’da doğmuştur. 1942 yılında vefat etmiştir. Tanburacıoğulları’ndandır. Ses sanatkârı ve bestekârıdır. Müziğe üç telli saz çalarak başlamış, bilahare  tambur ve cümbüş çalmasını öğrenmiştir. Sesi çok dik, temiz ve etkileyicidir. Mukkim Tahir'le aynı dönemlerde yaşamıştır. Şanlıurfa'da Halkevi sahnesinde ve Anzelha gazinolarında programlar yapmıştır. Bir müddet de İstanbul sahnelerinde çalışmıştır. Çok temiz giyinen ve modern görünüşlü bir kişiydi. Taş plağa okuduğu eserleri; “Kışlalar dolu bugün”, “Aşkın ne derin yaralar açtı ciğerimde”, “Ne hoş olur mapushana havası”, “Kız adın Fatma güzel”, “Nazmiyem gel beni yakma”, “Adanalı esmer olur can yakar”, “Duman duman olmuş karşıki dağlar”.
