Gönül akkor'un küçük kardeşidir.sanata Türk hafif müziği ile başlamıştır.ve reyhan adlı eserle çok büyük bir çıkış yapmıştır.çok sayıda kaset ve plak çalışması olan sanatçı yönünü daha sonra Türk sanat müziğine çevirmiştir ve bu alanda da aynı başarıyla devam etmiştir.şu na sanat müziği söyleyen sanatçı çalışmalarına aralıksız devam etmektedir.ve büyük üstad Vasfi Vasfi Uçaroğlu ile tam 35 yıldır mutlu bir hayat sürmektedirler.
